She was a member of Jones Avenue First Church of God and the First Church of the Nazarene in Oak Hill. She was actively involved in all aspects of both churches’ work. Working the kitchen for dinners, fund raisers, receptions, Bible School – Alice was there.

She was a gracious host, opening her home and heart each time she and Eddie entertained family and friends. No dinner function was too big for Alice.
