BARBARA LAURA MOLCHANOFF

Barbara Laura McNeil Molchanoff, 56, of Oak Hill, WV passed away peacefully on August 7th after a courageous fight with cancer.  Many knew her as Barbie. She will be remembered for her gentle and kind nature and for never having a crossword for anyone. Lover of flowers, animals, and all things of beauty - she embodied that beauty in the way she lived and loved others well. Being a devoted wife and wonderful mother were her most favorite and cherished titles.  A special thank you to her sister-in-law, Martha, for helping her in her final moments.  She was preceded in death by her heroes, her Grandma, Wilma, and Grandpa, R.K. Bond; and mother, Barbara McNeil.  Those left to cherish her memory are her faithful husband of 35 years, Tim; her daughter, Cassie (Nathaniel) Crowder; a son, JT (Kelley) Molchanoff; and her granddaughter, Ellie.  She has 12 siblings: Gary Hogan, Darla Eads, Kenneth Hogan, Donald Hogan, Wayne Hogan, Robert Hogan, Terry Young, Timothy Hogan, Mark Hogan, Jami Meyers, Michael McNeil, and Kevin McNeil.  Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 12th with service to follow at 11:00 AM at Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Paul Neil officiating. Interment will follow at High Lawn Memorial Gardens in Oak Hill, West Virginia.
