Bobby Dean Adkins, 70, of Prudence, West Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at CAMC Plateau Medical Center. Bobby was born on December 23, 1953, in Mullens, West Virginia to the late Wallace and Violet Adkins.

Bobby was an evangelist for 46 years. He went to Shepherds Worship Center and Daystar Worship Center. Bobby loved to hunt deer and turkey, going Ginsenging, loved reading his Bible, but most importantly spending time with his loving family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Patty Smith; brothers, Richard and Phillip; and nephews, Brian Adkins and Jason Tincher.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Freda; a son, Nathan (Christina); a daughter, Rachel (Terry); step-children, Steven, Christina, and Vickie; grandchildren, Luke, Halo, Morgan, Harley, Kristen, Anthony, Tyler, Mya, Jack, Charliegh Mae, and Steven Allen; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 PM, Monday, May 13, 2024, at Kilsyth Daystar Worship Center with Pastor Larry Humphrey, Pastor Jim Spack, and Randy McGuire officiating. Interment will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill, West Virginia.

Friends may call on the family from 1 PM, Monday, May 13, 2024, at Kilsyth Daystar Worship Center.

Pallbearers will be Jack Pizzino, Wallace Adkins, Luke Adkins, Dean Wood, Austin Cottle, Ricky Adkins, and Casey Wood.

Daystar Worship Center will hold a dinner following the service for family and friends at 511 Kilsyth Road.
