David Roy Kauff

David Roy Kauff, 74, of Oak Hill, WV, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at home. David was born on August 18, 1948, to the late Roy M. Kauff and Mary Elizabeth McGonagol.
David was a police officer in West Virginia and Virginia. David was a veteran of the United States Marie Corps serving from 1968 to 1974 when he was honorably discharged as a Corporal. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and four-wheeling.
In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife Bernadette, our children, Dave’s children, grandchildren, three great-granddaughters, numerous friends, and his beloved St. Bernard Sonja.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at High Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with brother-in-law Deacon John Yaquinta officiating. Entombment will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm before the service at the funeral home.
