Donald Lynn McDaniels

Donald Lynn McDaniels, 84 of Oak Hill, WV passed away Thursday December 28, 2023 at home with his wife Norma by his side. Donald was born September 24, 1939 in Charleston, WV to Nell L. McDaniels.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. Donald was a janitor at Oak Hill Elementary School and the biggest West Virginia fan ever. He loved his honey buns, Coca-Cola and Beechnut tobacco.

In addition to his mother Donald was preceded in death by his brother Charles McDaniels and sister-in-law Sue McDaniels, sons Ronald E. Toney, Robert E. Toney and James E. Toney and his son-in-law Mike Fields.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Norma J. McDaniels, daughters Kathy L. Fields, Leslie T. Taylor, son-in-law Donald E. Taylor, son Jackie L. Toney; grandkids Angela M. Black, Samatha T. Jenkins, Julie A Toney, Christina J. Taylor, Crystal L. Klosski, Stanley and Chelsie Klosski, Kevin and Robin Klosski, Jasmine R. Toney, Ronald E. Toney, Tamie A. Toney, nephew Gary and Tonya Lewis, cousin Buck and Mary McDaniels and lots of loving great-grandkids.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 2nd in the chapel of High Lawn Funeral Home in Oak Hill. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum of High Lawn Memorial Park.

Friends may call from 1:00 pm until time of service.

Pallbearers will be Stanley Klosski, Kevin Klosski, Jimmy White, Terry Black, Devyn Rankin, Kevin G. Klosski and Trevor Klosski.
