Dorothy Jane Higginbotham

Dorothy Jane Bondzo née Higginbotham, 88 of Scarbro passed away January 24, 2025, at her home. Dorothy was born in Scarbro on October 19, 1936, to Adam Bondzo and Stella Withrow.   Dorothy was a switchboard operator for C & P Telephone Co. for many years. She was a devout Catholic being a member of STS Peter and Paul Catholic Parish for 88 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving  husband Henry W. Higginbotham.  Those left to cherish her loving memory are her children, Andrew Ruckoldt, Jerry Higginbotham, Lisa (Jon) Linkous, Annette (Ronnie) Fedukovich, Michelle Higginbotham, and Stephanie (Meade) Stith; grandchildren, Jennifer, Adam, Aaron, Hannah, Briana, Meade V, and Henry; great-grandchildren, Jake, Timothy, Nohemi, Maverick, Gabriella, Grayson, Averie, and Layla.  Services will be held Friday, January 31, 2025, at 1:00 PM at High Lawn Funeral Home with Deacon Rick Allen officiating the Christian burial.
