GARNER PRESTON WISE

Garner “Tiger” Preston Wise, 59, of Salem, Virginia, passed away peacefully in Wheeling, WV, following a long illness. Tiger was born to the late Thomas and Mary Kirby in Salem, Virginia.   Tiger was an employee of Walker Machine and Foundary for many years. He was the father of two sons; Anthony Wise and Todd Wise. He enjoyed going fishing at family members “Ronnie and Donna’s pond” and was a big fan of WWE Wrestling. You could always find Tiger at his neighbors Gary and Beverly Gover’s home playing ball with his beloved furry friend “Bear”.   In addition to his parents Thomas and Mary Kirby, he was preceded in death by two sisters; Tina Clark and Rita Smith; and Brother “Shorty” Wise.  Those left to cherish his memory include his sons Anthony Wise(Kristen), and Todd Wise(Antonio); Grandchildren Jayce, Grayson, Cooper, and Rowen Wise; In-laws, Terry, Rachel, Tyler, and Mya White; Brother Clarence(Vicky) Wise; Beloved friends Lisa Williams of Salem Virginia, Gary and Beverly Gover of Oak Hill WV.  A memorial service will be held at a later date following cremation. Special attendants; Grandson Jayce Wise (closing prayer) and family member Luke Adkins, whom Tiger dearly loved! Will play his guitar in place of music.   Family and Friends will be welcome to attend Tiger’s memorial service at a later date and will be notified.   The family would like to say thank you to everyone for the prayers and support following Tiger’s passing
