John William “Mr. Wilson/Brother John” Blevins, 72, of Oak Hill, WV passed away at his home on Saturday, February 24, 2024. He was born in Leivasy, WV to the late Herbie and Melvie Ann Taylor Blevins.

John worked in the coal mines as a heavy equipment operator.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 5 brothers, Petie, Samuel, Clifford, Michael, and Charlie.

Those left to cherish his memory; ex-wife and special friend, Delta Graham (Justin); grandsons, Hunter Meadows (Lexi) and Jacob Meadows; a great-grandson, Ocean Meadows; sisters, Connie, Shirley, and Mary; brothers, Clarence and Lawrence; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at High Lawn Funeral Home in Oak Hill, WV at 2PM on Thursday, February 29, 2024 with Pastor Bill Gillman officiating. Burial will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park.

Friends may call on the family from 1PM until the time of service on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at High Lawn Funeral Home.
