June Christina McNeely

June Christina McNeely, age 93, of Daniels, WV, formerly of Mount Hope, WV passed away at the Raleigh Center in Daniels, WV on Monday, March 20, 2023.

She was born on June 19, 1929, in Mercer County, to the late William Canada Rader Sr. and Isabel Prentice Law Rader.

June was a former laboratory technician at the Beckley VA Hospital in her earlier life. She later began a career in the funeral industry, working with her husband F. Sanford McNeely at Tyree Funeral Home in Mount Hope, and lastly at Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home in Beckley. She was a member of the Mount Hope Presbyterian Church and enjoyed reading in her spare time.

In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her husband, F. Sanford McNeely, by a sister Betty Hughes, and by brother William Canada Rader Jr.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Christie Foster and husband Freddie of Niota, TN; a grandson John Bonham of Beckley; a great granddaughter Isabella Bonham of Lexington, Ky. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A committal service will be held at High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Oak Hill, WV on Friday, March 24, 2023, at 2:30 PM with Rev. Loretta Taylor officiating. Friends may visit with the family thirty minutes prior to the service at the mausoleum.

Burial will follow at the cemetery.
