Kenneth Robert Lafferty, Sr., born July 28, 1952, in Mossy, WV, went home to be with Jesus in person on Thursday, July 13, 2023; there, his Beloved Mother, Esther Jane Stover, his Dad, Buitt Stover, and his Father, Eugene Lafferty, along with maternal Grandmother, Adith Stover, Aunts, Uncles, some Sisters, Brothers, Graf Family members and our Friends who have gone on ahead to Jesus joyfully awaited his arrival. Ken's Wife, Elizabeth, Sons, Jonathon, Kenneth Jr., and Randy (Wife Bianca), Grandchildren Trent, Samara, and Gianna, remain to live the abundant Life Jesus gave His own life to provide for all of us. Ken Sr., a True Family Man and Child of the Highest God finished his race with eyes forward and with nothing but Love and Forgiveness in his heart. He was always the Family Man who encouraged other Family, Friends, and Strangers, whom he loved and for whom he prayed. Being thankful for all our Loving Father God has given, Ken looked after us all through all his days, even up to the end of his earthly life's journey. Remaining in this world with Ken's Wife, Liz, and Sons, Ken Jr., Jon, and Randy are Ken Sr.'s Sisters: Ginger Gayle Smith (Husband Rick); Diana Johnson (Husband Billy); Sandra Hendrick (Husband Rod); Crystal Hernandez (Husband Gilbert); Deborah Lafferty, Beloved Brother-in-Law Bernard Graf, Nieces, Nephews and their Families, also, Ken Sr.'s Cousins: Deborah Levins, Sherri Treadway, Robert Lee Stover, and Wife Bobbie Ann; Aretta Breland, Ronnie Levins, Shelba Levins, Lou Ann Cyrus, and many other Cousins and their Families, all whom he dearly loved. Kenneth Sr. always advised everyone to make and keep Jesus #1 in their lives and to remember to keep Family sacred. Forgive one another and remain open and loving because Family and Friends need you to be the Light. Jon, Ken Jr., and Liz are so very grateful for all the prayer support, loving-kindness, and personal visits for Ken Sr. during this time. Friends whose own Family members were in the hospitals also gave genuine loving care for Ken Sr. while their own Beloved Ones were hospitalized. Professional caregivers at Summersville Regional Hospital Emergency Room, WVU CV-ICU, Rosenbaum Family House, Select Specialty Hospital, and Bowers Hospice House showed much personal interest in caring for Ken Sr. and his Family. Heartfelt thanks belong to all of you from us. End of Life arrangements includes cremation and final resting place at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill, WV for a private Family gathering. A Celebration of Ken Sr.'s Life will be announced directly to Family and Friends, also at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Ken's name to offering at your Church; Rosenbaum Family House in Morgantown, WV; St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, your local Rehabilitation and Homeless shelter organizations and/or Nicholas Animal Hospital in Summersville, WV.
