Nancy Ann Dougan, 76, of Oak Hill, West Virginia passed away Sunday, December 29, 2024, at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley WV. Nancy was born June 9, 1948, in Lick Fork West Virginia in Fayette County. Nancy was the daughter of Jess and Beatrice Walton.  Nancy had been battling cancer for 4 years. The family will be having A Celebration of Life Service. Nancy was a homemaker she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Nancy was a member of Saint Peter and Pauls Catholic Church. She loved to travel (especially cruises). Nancy was a volunteer at the Red Cross and assistant cub master for the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts.   Nancy loved to dance, especially when it came to line dancing.   Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Dougan; a son, Leo Bickford; her parents, Jess and Beatrice Walton; 3 sisters, Elizabeth, Rose Mary, and Minnie Sue; and a brother, Rubin.  Those left to cherish Nancy's memory include 6 daughters; Lita Underwood, Rita Hunt, Nita Wood, Rae Marie Bickley, and Riyan Cook; 3 sons, Michael Dougan, Robert Bickley, and Raymond Bickley;14 grandchildren, Kassandra, Andrew, Patrick, Elleigh Mae, Emory Caden, Carter, Gabriella, Scarlett, Damion, John Patrick, Alexandra, Nevaeh, and Leandra; 8 great-grandchildren; her sister, Kathy Pierce; 2 brothers, George Toney and Ellis Walton; a bunch nieces and nephews; 1 very special niece, Cindy Toma; 1 very special little boy that called her Nay-Nay; and 3 fur babies, Dolly, Deuce, and Dutches, she loved them very much.   A Celebration of life will be held at High Lawn Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Hill, West Virginia on January 18, 2025, at 1 pm with Leonard Bickford officiating.   Friends may call on the family from 12 pm to 1 pm on January 18, 2025, at High Lawn Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow the service in High Lawn Memorial Park.
