Norma Gail Flint, 78, of Oak Hill, West Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at Cabell Huntington Hospital, and is now reunited with her beloved daughter, Robin. Norma was born on January 10, 1946, in Dothan, West Virginia to the late Chester Monroe Coleman and Veda Smith Coleman Legg. Norma was a homemaker to her loving family. She was a devoted Christian and had been attending Oak Hill Christian Church at the time of her death. Norma loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and great-grandkids. She also enjoyed visiting with her friends, reading, quilting, and doing puzzles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a beloved daughter, Robin Adkins Wheeler; Bob Adkins; Lacy Ashby Flint; brothers, James “Buster” Coleman, William “Willie” Coleman, Carroll Coleman, and Samuel Legg; sisters, Velva Coleman Mitchell, Betty Coleman Thomas King, and Sue Coleman Scarbrough; and several nieces and nephews. Those left to cherish her memory, are her daughter, Stacey Treadway (Scott); a son, Lacy “Aaron” Flint; grandkids, Ashley Wheeler (Joshua Brodnax Sr.), Scotty Treadway (Kenzie), Robert Wheeler, Gabrielle Flint Busenitz (Aaron Busenitz), Nikolas Treadway (Sierra Shumaker), Leighann Flint, Triston Treadway (Kaylee Underwood), and Emilee Flint; several great-grandkids, who were the apple of her eyes; sisters, Letha Coleman Reynolds and Helen Coleman Pittman; a brother, Bill Coleman; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at High Lawn Funeral Home, Oak Hill, West Virginia, with Pastor Bobby Thomas Jr. of Oak Hill Christian Church officiating. Interment will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call on the family from 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 18, 2024, at High Lawn Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be, son-in-law, Scott Treadway; grandsons, Scotty Treadway, Robert Wheeler, Nikolas Treadway, and Triston Treadway; and brother-in-law, Donald Flint. “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.” ---Dr. Seuss Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.highlawnfuneralhome.com.
