Mr. Quran Eli Wallace was born to Diana Cox and Michael Wallace on March 2, 2002 in Beckley, WV.
Quran was a sweet baby, and had a la-la-la light that brightened every room he was in. He constantly filled his family’s hearts with joy and laughter.
Quran, as a toddler, developed a love of the outdoors, insects, and animals. He loved animals so much that he would bring turtles, snakes and lizards home. He was fascinated with dinosaurs and automobiles, and could name any vehicle on the road. He would also describe himself as a superhero (he was Spider-Man, he deserved it) and he got his very own sidekick in June 2005 with the birth of his baby sister, Adrianna.
Quran was raised in a loving, faith-based home, where the love and sense of family was deeply instilled in him. He earned several nicknames from family and friends, such as Little Dusty, Hot Pocket, Man Man, Ron Ron, King Kong, Bubala, Q the Kid, and Ron Boolin. Quran’s favorite activities were family oriented - he loved fishing and going to the lake with his parents and sister. He also enjoyed attending Outreach for Christ Christian Center with his paternal grandmother, Queen E. Wallace.
Quran attended school in Oak Hill, Charleston, and Beckley, WV, and earned his GED in 2019.
Quran met his partner, Seandrea Hoskins, in 2021. They welcomed a daughter, Lariyah, in July 2022. He was a doting father who poured constant love and attention on her. He was also a father figure to Seandrea’s three children Drequan, Ricky, and Lakiyah.
Quran was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Joyce Cox, and paternal grandparents, Augustine Sr. and Queen E. Wallace.
Quran is survived by his parents, sister, partner, and daughter. He leaves a myriad of aunts, uncles, and cousins who will cherish his memory forever.
