ROBERT LOUIE CHUYKA

June 10, 1946 — August 18, 2024

Beckley, WV

In the early am hours of August 18, 2024, a most magnificent celebration occurred in Heaven. Jesus and all the angels, along with Cedar and Ruth Chuyka, gathered at the pearly gates to welcome home and celebrate the beautiful and faithful soul, Rupert Louie Chuyka, also known to those on earth as “Bear” or “Mr. Smith”.   Jesus embraced him and said….  “My child, your life is extraordinary. Your life is, and always will be, a living testimony and exemplary example of my love for all. Your life is, and always will be, a shining legacy of love, joy, and kindness to your fellow man.”   The Chuyka Family is certain that Rupert has been promoted to a supervisory position, and is overseeing the building of their mansions. His wife Jane, their three children; Rhonda, Scott, and Shaun, their spouses and families, along with his brother Donald and his family, know that Heaven is even more perfect with Rupert’s arrival.   He is greatly missed by all.   The family wishes to thank all those who have held Rupert and the family in prayer. The family also wishes to thank special friends that have become family: Dave, Mike, Margaret, Donna, Millie, and Minden Missionary Baptist Church. The family also wishes to express loving gratitude to ALL those who work in EMS and the health care field. They would like to remind them that “The Angels Work Here”.   A private graveside service will be facilitated by High Lawn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations to assist the family with burial expenses may be sent to: High Lawn Memorial Park, 1435 Main St E, Oak Hill, WV 25901.
