Stephen Michael Grandetti

Stephen Michael Grandetti, born on August 26, 1960, in Dearborn, Michigan, to the proud parents John Henry Grandetti and Rosemary Catherine Stevens, peacefully passed away on November 7, 2023, in Livonia, Michigan. A devoted resident of Garden City, he leaves behind a legacy of love and family. Steve was a cherished father to his sons, Joshua and Zachary, and he held a special place in the hearts of his siblings: Jill Ann (Michael) LeMond, Laura (the late Gailen) Edgerly, Joni (Dan) Mance, John (Donna) Grandetti, and Lisa Sielski. As a beloved uncle to numerous nieces and nephews, his affection and warmth were truly exceptional.

Steve's life was marked by his dedicated service as a sheriff for Oakland County, where he worked tirelessly to keep his community safe. In addition to his commitment to public service, he was known for his love of fishing, his passion for memorable barbeques, and his penchant for playing the lotto with incredible luck. Steve was also an active member of the American Legion Post 396, where he found camaraderie and a shared sense of purpose. His love for his nieces and nephews was boundless, and he will be deeply missed by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
