Woodrow Crockett Jr.

Woodrow Crockett Jr., 86, of Oak Hill, WV, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Huntington. Woodrow was born on February 26, 1937, in Cabin Creek, WV to the late Woodrow Crockett Sr. and Juanita Johnson Crockett.
Woodrow was a retired postal worker and was a Vietnam Veteran of the United States Marine Corps earning the rank of Staff Sergeant. Woodrow attended Jones Avenue Church of God in Oak Hill, WV.
In addition to his parents, Woodrow is preceded in death by his wife Pauline Toney Crockett, and brother Leroy Crockett.
Those left to cherish his memory include his brothers Bobby Crockett (Darlene) of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Donald Crockett (Patty) of Ripley, West Virginia, sister Sandra Crockett Kennedy of Ripley, West Virginia, stepson Coy Arthur Toney (Caroline) of Oak Hill, West Virginia.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at the Jones Avenue Church of God in Oak Hill with Pastor Mike Hicks and Sister Patricia Franklin officiating. Entombment will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. before the service at the church.
